Perfect weather for the meltdown. The evening before unleashed a storm with 60 mph winds and an 1″ of rain. Regardless of the weather, the course was ready. With over 500 racers and plenty of spectators the was well attended. A great day for all !

Dusted off the old Miele, fresh tubes, tires and some human power. 17 mph head wind was a hoot on the way east, but sure helped to sustain 19-22 mph on the way back. I need to dial in the adjustments of the seat and bars – it certainly was fun to go fast.
