Mission one : Let’s get some user friendly cross walks in the downtown and for the key route connections to the downtown. Every other historic downtown I visit seem to have these graphically striped crosswalks with the vertical yield sign right in the middle of the road. We have a great downtown with miles of attractive multi-use trails along the canal and quarries that’s not easily accessed to the general public. Personally speaking it’s a scary experience trying to cross with a stroller. I’m not sure on a next step, other than citizens of the community uniting to say “We want safer cross walks !”
