Hidden Lakes Nature Center

We were looking for something to do on a Saturday so I decided to google “Nature Center”. To my surprise Bolingbrook Park District’s Hidden Lakes Nature Center popped up. The guys thought it was a good idea so we packed up some water and granola bars and hopped in the car. We pulled off of Boughton Avenues traffic and drove into the woods. The park has sculpture and a modern structure and it was refreshing to not see any of the typical Park District Playground materials. We went into the small but well designed vistor center and wandered around. Plenty of neat exhibits and animals to see. Next we headed out to the trail and found the play area – an adventure park in the woods. We had a great time !
