Lyman Nature Center

We weren’t sure what to do on the “last” weekend of summer, so we took out our map of Dupage County Forest Preserves and through a dart at the map. It landed on the Lyman Center.

We arrived and the boys (and myself) were interested in learning more about the turf roof. The staff and displays answered all of our questions. We wandered the grounds for a couple miles and tried to track down a geocache.

We also learned about the honey need on the property and plan to return with our Cub Scout Den.
