Palos Through the Eyes of a Five and Seven Year Old

Whoa did we have a great time on the trail. Want to inspire a someone to put down a video game, take them to the Palos Trail Network. I was towing the Burley with T and H was leading the way on his Schwinn. We parked at Wolf Road Woods on, well, Wolf Road. From there we hit the Bridle Path or Multi-use trails. It’s pretty similar to Waterfall Glen with a bit more rustic charm. There are no wash-outs but the trail is not as manicured as the DuPage network, and for me, I prefer this. It was also a really cool day to be on the trail because so many folks were out training for the Palos Meltdown. My boys thought this was really cool, especially when they cheered H as he struggled with his last big climb. I’m going to schedule a family Meet-up here just so other folks learn about the area and what it has to offer.
