Centennial Trail – Lemont Trail Head

With the MS 150, Tour de Prairie getting REALLY close I need to rack up miles on the pavement. It’s taking a little getting used to but it’s really fun to crank up some speed. The Centennial is a fantastic paved trail and a real gem for the Lemont area. We really to connect the trail to the downtown for safer access to the trail head and to help the Lemont economically. It’s also a bummer that the Route 83 to Willow Springs section of the Centennial will be closed, you can still rack up miles by taking the protected bike path on the Rt 83 bridge and jump onto the Willow Springs section of the I+M Trail.
