Spring on the Des Plaines — Lemont Landing

admin canoeing, family, kayaking, lemont, outdoor adventurer's, paddling, photo

Any day is a good day to get on the water — even more so in the Spring when Get Out Fever sets in ! We had sun, and plenty of wind as well, to the tune of 20-25 mph out of the west. The wind was strong enough to make going up stream incredibly easy and coming about to head back to the landing more interesting than usual. We had mini-white caps to the tune of about foot with a couple coming over the bow, the wind made for a lot of fun. It was a great work out to head into the wind and plenty of fun.

Our group of six had a great time and I look forward to the next outing.
