Waterfall Hike

Keith Nowakowski family, hiking, lemont, outdoor adventurer's, Something Interesting

This week brought some heavy storms, enough to keep the creek over the waterfall flowing. We were here in the winter but since then it looks like the DuPage County Forest Preserve cut down some of the invasive species and exposed more of the stone. Thank you ! It looks great and really shows off the beauty that always amazes me here — only 5 minutes from my house. The guys were more interested in exploring the creek. We had a great time figuring out where to cross and just good ole exploring. More kids should put down the devices and get out to explore !
