Fishnet Rapids Flashback

Keith Nowakowski canoeing, kayaking, lemont, outdoor adventurer's, paddling

The high water on the Des Plaines reminded me of hitting the Fishnet Rapids a few years ago. The fishnet is located in Lockport, just north of the old Division Street Bridge. As you can see in the pics you have to hike, hit the rapids, repeat. It’s not class V, but it’s a lot of fun for only a 10 minutes. Though I didn’t make it out again during the high water, I’m looking forward to more rain.

coming back for more... new friends hitting the water new friends hitting the water (84 years old ) new friends hitting the water.1 Ted waiting keith doing some walking up stream
